The Bauhaus movement continues to have a strong impact in many fields, from product design (Apple) to music (the goth-rock band Bauhaus) to … food? Yes, Bauhaus has now invaded the culinary world, which isn’t that surprising when you consider the rise of haute cuisine: from glossy food porn to confectionary gallery installations to performance-art dinner parties. It was only a matter of time before Bauhaus was thrown into the skillet.

Combining their passions for design and eating, Berlin-based photographer Nicola “Nicky” Walsh and food stylist Max Faber have staged a photo shoot constructing Bauhaus-themed “paintings” completely out of goodies that would leave Gropius feeling proud, and perhaps hungry. More photos here!
